What to expect

I offer free consultations and screening. If the client demonstrates a need, we will schedule an evaluation. Simple speech evaluations can be done in 30-45 minutes. Evaluations that involve more areas, such as expressive and receptive language, social communication, fluency, apraxia, or other skills will take 2-3 hours, and may be scheduled over multiple sessions as needed.

The results of the evaluation, as well as a treatment plan, will be discussed in a subsequent session, usually about a week later. Then we can schedule an appointment, usually once weekly for 25 minutes, though other times and frequencies may be available.
